Home Divorce I thought I knew Her

I thought I knew Her

I thought I knew Nancy enough before I proposed her. But our several our several marital problems prove how wrong I was. How can I be having serious misunderstanding and heated arguments with her? It scarcely happened during our six months dating. What actually did I miss out that that could be responsible for the marital problems? Hear my story:

We met at a friend’s birthday party and right away I felt a strong attraction for her. So, I told her and asked her out for dinner the next evening. We fell in love. It became our tradition to have dinner every evening except when I am out of town of have some other serious engagement. Six months later, we got married. During the six months we dated, I took time to observe her and I thought she was perfect for me. Courteous, gentle and quite caring. What else would I need in a woman?

Barely a month after the wedding, I started doubting my decision to marry her. I could not believe she was the same person I date for six months. She was not as organized as I would like her to be. It does not matter to her where she dumps her clothes; the settee, bed or floor even when the wardrobe is begging to be used. She usually burns her pancakes and does not care whether her clothes are dirty or not. These of course irritate me. How did I fail to observe all these for six months? Was I blinded by love or did she cover up her flaws? She doe not seem willing to change. Each time I complain, she would retort, “That is me, who do you want me to change to?”

This frustrated me so much and I had to ask for divorce. While online, I stumbled on Save My Marriage Today!. After reading through its preview, I concluded that it has what I want. It helped my almost collapsed marriage. From it, Nancy and I learnt how to;

  1. Blend our individual differences.
  2. Manage and resolve our conflicts.
  3. Communicate effectively.
  4. Sustain our love for each other.
  5. Effectively manage our home, etc.

I would save a big thanks to Save My Marriage Today!
